UCMS Group took part in the XII St. Petersburg International Innovation Forum (PMIF), held on November 13-15 in St. Petersburg. PMIF is the largest platform for promoting scientific and industrial initiatives, supporting innovation, and developing successful cooperation between business, government and science.
Within the framework of the forum, on November 14, a seminar “Digital tools for the development of exports in the B2B segment” was held, organized by the Center for Export Support of the Leningrad Region, the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization “Center for the Development of Industry of the Leningrad Region”.
Seminar participants discussed digitalization of export sales, new approaches and tools for the development of export B2B sales. Particular attention was paid to the issue of online export, entering international online platforms. As experts noted, such business development entails a number of changes, for example, the need to expand the staff of companies. “This is one of the reasons why, when entering the international level, an enterprise outsources a part of its work to a foreign company. Such companies know the legislation of the country in which the supplier wants to enter the market. Another reason is scaling. You don’t need to think about how to expand your staff, how to open a representative office when you are growing and expanding, ”comments Sergey Kessel, Director of Partner Relations at UCMS Group Russia.
