I remember my interview, it was the beginning of October. At the end of August, I quit my job at an IT outsourcing company and went on vacation for a couple of weeks. There I had a number of clients assigned to me, and I went to them, solved their problems.
At the UCMS Group, this was my second of three interviews. The first thing that stuck in my memory was the Krasnaya Roza business center itself, where the office was then, at the Park Kultury metro station. The office was small, but very cozy and warm, with red brick walls. At the interview, I was immediately told that it was planned to move the office. During that summer I took part in three movings, and it didn’t scare me. Although, of course, it was a pity to move from this business center, but still I managed to work a little in this cool office.
I came to UCMS for the anykey position – this is support for office users, then we only had Moscow and St. Petersburg. Immediately then I learned what remote support of people is, voluminous work with accountants, and that they need a lot of help, unlike other categories of users.
Yes, how many there were. There were about a dozen movings. And I was not scared by the news of the move during the interview, since I had experience, I also did it for other companies. But the opening of the Tver office (and this is almost a move) was unexpected. I learned about the opening of a branch in November, maybe in October, and the office was launched already in December. It seemed to me that there was very little time for preparation. There were, of course, difficulties, but we started on time, everything worked out.
Be prepared for any situation. A couple of years ago we had a file server failure at the physical level, not software. Then we were lucky with the restoration, since we had necessary hardware. We recovered in two days. It happened on Saturday, on Monday we started at six in the morning.
Response times are divided into four categories of requests: urgent, regular, unimportant, and requests that need to be made, but they do not affect the quality of service. To move a person in an office, for example. We take urgent requests to work within fifteen minutes and resolve the issue within four hours. Regular application: take on the job within four hours, decision time – 24 hours.
The desire to give all your best, and maybe even more than you expect from yourself. It is important to wake up with the thought that there are problems and you want to solve them. When this feeling is lost, you need to look for either new stimuli or a new place.
Oh, there were so many!
There was a situation with a client – I received an application to create an account, but the name and surname were not very ordinary, just exotic. And I specified where this gentleman’s name and surname were, and pressed ctrl + enter out of habit. As a result, the letter flew away, the client remained in a copy. The answer was a letter from the client that the client was a girl and she also explained what was the name and what was the last name. I was very embarrassed, but the then head of the accounting department and this project, Sveta Makashina, said not to worry and the next time to be careful with the “answer everyone” button, and we laughed together at this. In general, such mistakes are my everything, I’m working on it, but in tense situations it helps to defuse the atmosphere 🙂
When you puzzle over a difficult task for a long time, and when you finally succeed, such euphoria appears! Well, and a feeling of some freedom from this business 🙂
Attending a football match in Europe, celebrating the victory of your team all night long, waking up on the shore – so it would be nice if the match was in a country with the sea.

I collect T-shirts with the names of football players. Friends from different countries where they have been bring them to me. Someone has magnets, but I prefer T-shirts.

I would very much like to visit three places – Antarctica, San Francisco and Cuba.

I will mention one thing – this is a sense of humor, about the rest I cannot say with 100% certainty.

I was 14 years old, and my father arranged for me as a courier for the summer at the company where he worked. From my first salary, I bought myself a 3310 mobile phone and a tariff with a bee, the salary was only enough for this.
